Choose images and reduce file size with ease.
Balanced uses quality 0.80 and a 2560-pixel maximum side. High, Light and Extreme change both quality and size limits; Custom exposes output format and dimensions. Target size tries multiple encodes and may shrink pixels, then reports whether it succeeded.
A small, optimized source may have little room to shrink. PNG uses lossless encoding here, so its quality slider does not work like JPEG's; a detailed PNG may need smaller dimensions to meet a strict target. Compare the displayed original and result bytes before download.
The tool decodes and encodes selected files in your browser and offers individual downloads or a ZIP. Images are not sent to a Pixlena server. Canvas export creates a new file, so do not rely on camera EXIF remaining in the output.
